Grammy winner Olivia Dean and American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit are set to headline Lollapalooza India next year.
The music festival will return for its fifth edition on January 23 and 24, 2027, at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai, bringing together international and homegrown acts across four stages.
Global stars set for India debuts
Dean, the singer-songwriter behind hit songs “Man I Need” and “Dive”, and Limp Bizkit, the veteran rock band fronted by Fred Durst and known for hits such as “Break Stuff” and “Rollin’”, will be joined by several international acts performing for the first time in India.
Global girl group KATSEYE are expected to bring their energetic and powerful choreography in “Gnarly” and “Hootie Frutti” at the festival.
The group, who earned two Grammy nominations in 2026, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, have emerged as one of the biggest new names in global pop.
Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, meanwhile, are set to bring a dose of nostalgia to the festival with fan favourites such as “She Looks So Perfect” and “Youngblood”.
The four-member band, composed of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin, rose to global fame in the 2010s and have since established themselves as one of Australia’s most successful pop-rock acts.
Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter St. Vincent will moreover make their India debuts, bringing their distinctive rock and alternative sounds to the festival stage.
British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri, Australian artist Ecca Vandal, Japanese DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and Chilean-American musician Alain Johannes are also among the international acts performing in the country for the first time.

Indian artists join the line-up
Of course, Lollapalooza India would not be complete without its homegrown talent.
Singer-songwriters Anuv Jain and Aditya Gadhvi will be among the Indian artists taking the stage.
Jain has become a prominent voice in India’s indie music scene with tracks such as “Baarishein” and “Husn”, while Gadhvi is known for bringing Gujarati folk influences to contemporary audiences.
Indian Ocean, one of the country’s pioneering fusion-rock bands, will also appear alongside instrumental rock project Blackstratblues and Mumbai-based singer, producer and DJ Kayan.
Three-time Grammy-winning Indian composer Ricky Kej will team up with Stewart Copeland, drummer and co-founder of The Police, for a special performance blending rock, orchestral and Hindustani classical influences.

India feels like ‘home’ to artists
Lollapalooza made its India debut in Mumbai in 2023, becoming the global festival’s first edition in Asia.
This year, the festival was headlined by American rock band Linkin Park, rapper Playboi Carti, British rocker YUNGBLUD and R&B singer Kehlani.
YUNGBLUD, who made his India debut at the festival, described his Mumbai performance as “one of the greatest nights of my life” in a social media post following the show.
He also expressed a desire to return to the country after receiving a warm welcome from fans.
Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze was similarly moved by his first performance in India.
Speaking to Rolling Stone India backstage immediately after his set, Kaze said the country already felt like home.
“India makes me feel like this is my home. This is where I belong,” he said.
Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda likewise acknowledged the years-long wait for the band to perform in the country, thanking Indian fans during their headline set for “patiently waiting for us” and repeatedly asking the group to come to India, Musicplus.in reported.
The festival is set to return for its fifth edition in January 2027, with tickets now available through BookMyShow starting at ₹7,999 (roughly $85).
