The New Level shook the wrestling world as they debuted in All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) biggest show of the year.
Debuting at All In, which took place at Wembley Stadium in England, the group won the AEW World Trios Championship after joining alliances with Swerve Strickland.
Composed of Austin Creed and Kofi, formerly known as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the duo revealed themselves as Strickland’s teammates for the Trios Roulette Royale.
Creed and Kofi were known in the WWE for their stint in The New Day team, as the legendary group holds the record for the longest Raw Tag Team Championship reign at 483 days.
Throughout the years, The New Day had won 13 reigns as tag team champions in the company.
Earlier in May, wrestling newsletters reported that the duo mutually parted ways with the WWE.
Kofi and Creed are all elite
The New Level and Strickland made their way to the ring to the beat of ‘New Level’ by A$AP Ferg, as the Wembley crowd were all on their feet.
Creed and Kofi immediately made an impact in the match and showcased their chemistry and teamwork in their offence.
To win the match, a team, or a member of a trio, should outlast all other groups as a wrestler is eliminated when they are thrown out of the ring with both feet touching the floor.
During the final stage of the bout, The New Level and Strickland faced off against The Deathriders’ Claudio Castagnoli and Pac, who temporarily teamed with The Dogs’ Gabe Kidd.
The Death Riders looked to eliminate Kofi from the match, with Castagnoli hitting the company newcomer with a Big Boot while he was on the apron and Pac stomping his face to seal the deal.
With Kofi’s upper body on the ground, he kept his feet elevated, saving himself from an elimination.
Prince Nana, Strickland’s manager, assisted Kofi by holding his feet up like a wheelbarrow to help him get back to the ring.

New level, new champions
Kofi then managed to fight back and The New Level hit Kidd with a Double Stomp as Strickland hit him with a House Call off the top rope for the elimination.
Kofi and Creed then hit The Death Riders with kicks to the head to daze them, and the newcomers eliminated them to win the AEW World Trios Championship.
Later in the night, The New Level also made their presence known in the tag team division.
Kofi and Creed were one of the tag teams that appeared during the post-match segment of Cage and Cope vs The Young Bucks.
The teams, which also included FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns, looked to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, which Cage and Cope successfully defended.
