WWE’s young stars Oba Femi and Bron Breakker mauled each other during their contract signing for a match that “will determine the future of WWE” in the latest episode of Raw.
Tensions between the two started when Breakker previously confronted his ally and former The Vision manager Paul Heyman, questioning him if he thinks Femi is the future of the company.
The veteran manager did not answer directly, stating that he respects Femi until Breakker shows why The Ruler is not worthy of Heyman’s admiration.
Brock Lesnar, also a client of Heyman, hailed Femi as the future of the WWE after losing to him in SummerSlam earlier in the month.
During that time, Heyman showed endorsement to Femi when he shook his hand during the post-match segment.
The Nigerian also stated in a previous episode that he will spearhead the new generation.
Femi and Breakker’s match will be held on Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Volatile contract signing
During the contract signing mediated by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and Heyman, Femi first made his entrance as the Canadian crowd all cheered for the Nigerian.
Heyman then interrupted, as he introduced the “hardest-hitting athlete in all of WWE,” Breakker.
Before putting pen to paper, Breakker questioned his opponent proclaiming himself as the pioneer of the future.
He then brought up that despite Femi’s success, he still does not have any championship wins in the main roster, while Breakker himself had won the Intercontinental Championship and is currently one half of the World Tag Team Champions.
Breakker then mentioned that he was running the company and he was no doubt the future, but his injury got in the way.
“And then what happened? You weasel your way into my spot and my opportunities and get handed everything,” Breakker told Femi.
The 28-year-old, who is the son of wrestling legend Rick Steiner, then proclaimed that he will “rightfully claim” what is his.

Tensions erupt
Femi said that if his opponent debuted in a time when he was not around, Breakker would have been the face of the company.
“But Bronny boy this is 2026 and you have the unfortunate privilege of running against me,” Femi added.
After signing the agreement, Breakker then handed the contract to Heyman, stating that he should sign it for Femi.
He then blindsided Femi with a cheap shot, but The Ruler retaliated and the two brawled.
Austin Theory, Breakker’s tag partner, came out for the assist.
But Femi managed to fight off the two, as he slammed Theory through a table.
Breakker then retreated as his ally laid flat in the middle of the ring, and the Nigerian signed the contract to make the match official.
