Prominent Valorant professional gamer and streamer Tyson “TenZ” Ngo has signed an exclusive influencer deal with esports giant T1, marking his debut in the Korean content creation market.
“We are proud to announce that the world-renowned Valorant icon Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo will be joining T1 as an influencer,” the Korean esports organisation announced in a May 10 post on X.
The announcement was accompanied by a two-minute trailer posted on YouTube.
‘Standing with the best’
“Legends are made when the best stand together,” TenZ said at the trailer, announcing his partnership with T1.
The 25-year-old Canadian gamer, who first rose to prominence for his professional stint in the first-person shooting (FPS) game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, started his streaming career in 2020.
During the same year, he transitioned to Valorant, becoming Cloud 9’s first professional player for the then-newly released Riot shooter.
In 2024, he won the Valorant Champions Tour Masters title for the American esports organisation, Sentinels.
He then concluded his competitive career with a fourth place at the 2024 Valorant Champions in Seoul.
Aside from FPS games, TenZ is also known for his occasional League of Legends (LoL) and Roblox streams, amassing 4.5 million followers on Twitch and 2.61 million subscribers on YouTube.

Fans anticipate TenZ x T1 partnership
T1, home to the LoL esports legend Sang-hyeok “Faker” Lee, is currently at the forefront of the global competitive gaming scene.
In 2025, the esports organisation won its 6th LoL World Championship title and became the first team to achieve a three-peat in the S-tier competition.
Its Valorant team is also rising to become a strong contender in the international competitive gaming scene.
With TenZ joining T1, fans are anticipating the meeting of the “GOATs” who brought both gaming titles to global prominence.
“Now I need to see TenZ playing LoL and Faker playing Valorant!” one fan wrote on X.
“Faker and TenZ – T1 just collecting infinity stones,” another fan wrote on Reddit.
T1 had previously signed influencer and coach Hyun-sung “ValAnalysis” Ma under its Valorant Academy team.
Their influencer roster also includes LoL World champions Jun-sik “Bang” Bae, Jae-wan “Wolf” Lee and Gyeong-hwan “MaRin” Jang, among others.
