Netflix has announced a global concert tour for the hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, extending the franchise’s momentum after its record-breaking streaming run and awards success.

The streaming platform confirmed during its Upfront presentation that it is partnering with AEG Presents for a worldwide live tour that promises “a live experience that will bring elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways”.

The announcement came as the franchise continues to attract audiences beyond traditional K-pop fans, particularly younger viewers and casual listeners who helped propel the soundtrack to global chart success.

Fans may currently sign up for a waitlist, while more details, including general ticket sales, are expected later this year.

No details on voice actors’ role

Netflix has yet to reveal cities, schedules, ticket prices or whether performers connected to the film will participate in the concerts.

The production company also did not confirm if the live shows would feature either the voice actors or vocal performers behind the fictional K-pop group Huntrix and rival act Saja Boys.

Artists EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna provided the singing voices for Rumi, Mira and Zoey, and Arden Cho, May Hong and Ji-young Yoo voiced the characters onscreen.

Andrew Choi, Samuil Lee, Kevin Woo, Neckwav and Danny Chung, meanwhile, were the singing talent behind the Saja Boys, and Ahn Hyo-seop, Joel Kim Booster, Alan Lee and SungWon Cho lent their voices for the characters.

Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the film follows a K-pop girl group secretly battling supernatural forces.

After debuting in 2025, the movie became Netflix’s most-watched film ever and later earned two Academy Awards – Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song – on top of its laurels from the Critics’ Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Annie Awards, amongst others.

Aside from that, multiple songs from the soundtrack became chart-topping hits, particularly Huntrix’s “Golden” and Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop”.

Netflix has since confirmed that a sequel is in development, although no release date has been announced.
