Another chapter in the ongoing “Golden Hour” series is about to open for South Korean boy band ATEEZ in the disguise of a summer comeback.
The eight-member group’s return became more real to fans after a teaser for the upcoming album, “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5”, was dropped in just a few months following their 13th extended play, “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.4”.
A new door opens in the ‘Golden Hour’ saga
The teaser materials unveiled on May 22 came with the new album’s release date, which is expected on June 26 at 1pm KST.
According to a related report from Soompi, the narrative for this comeback will give fans a deeper understanding of the “Golden Hour” series that started in 2024 and has since become one of ATEEZ’s brilliant concepts for their overall lore.
Each of their albums holds an important key to their story that involves a dimension-hopping saga and having an alternative universe where your other self belongs to a group of Black Pirates in a dystopian world.
Cryptic teasers spark comeback frenzy
Proving the band’s growing success worldwide, the arrival of “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.4” in February with the title track “Adrenaline” recorded a strong debut on global charts, including its swift grab of the No.3 spot on the Billboard 200.
KQ Entertainment remains tight-lipped about the flow of the new concept and tracklist, but the direction of the album is under active discussion among fans, who speculate that it is based on the cryptic teaser video and the group’s interconnected storyline universe.
ATINY, the group’s fandom name, can also expect this comeback to be another high-energy era thanks to the symbolic imagery and dramatic visuals its teaser presented.
