Netflix released the trailer for a new comedy film “Little Brother” starring John Cena and Eric André.
The contrasting comedic pair play ‘brothers’ in the 2026 film’s humorous premise.
Zero resemblance found
When realtor Rudd (Cena) receives a call that his brother has been hospitalised, he is surprised to find Marcus (André) instead, a random man who couldn’t be less related.
Rudd soon recalls his connection to the stranger, who was paired up with him in a “Big Brother-Little Brother” event years ago as children.
Realising the man clearly has nobody else to turn to, Marcus is invited to stay in Rudd’s home – much against the realtor’s wishes.

A chaotic act of kindness
The new trailer reveals the chaos that ensues as Marcus re-enters a disgruntled Rudd’s life.
After moving in, the eccentric little brother completely disrupts his host’s perfect lifestyle while wholeheartedly claiming the one-sided brotherhood.
Although he is seen destroying a car and almost burning down the house, Rudd’s wife continues to encourage the caretaking of the obviously helpless individual.
However, everything is not as it seems as a discarded psych ward tag is found containing Marcus’ name.
Production and cast
The film has been in production for over a year, with Cena and André joining the cast in December 2024.
Other cast members include Michelle Monaghan (‘Made of Honor’, ‘Pixels’), Christopher Meloni (‘Man of Steel’) and Ego Nwodim (‘Saturday Night Live’).
“Little Brother” releases exclusively to Netflix on June 26, 2026.
