Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI announced on Wednesday the addition of two special guests to the Asian and Australian instalments of her ongoing Buzz World Tour.
“BUZZ AROUND THE WORLD era with my talented amazing friends @realityclub & @sarahkinsley !!!” the 26-year-old, known for the hit songs ‘Take A Chance With Me’, ‘Backburner’, and ‘Every Summertime’, wrote in a post on Instagram.
Indonesian indie rock band Reality Club cross-posted NIKI’s announcement on their page, adding that the band will headline the Asian leg of the tour.
“We can’t wait to hit the stage, share our music and enjoy the Buzz tour with all of you,” the band said.
Likewise, American alt-pop singer-songwriter Sarah Kinsley confirmed that she will be opening the Australian stops of the tour.
“My first time playing shows down under and I absolutely cannot wait,” Kinsley wrote, teasing fans about her upcoming performances in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Second global tour for 88rising star
The Buzz World Tour, a namesake of NIKI’s third studio album Buzz, was launched in Toronto in September last year and is set to visit a total of 37 cities across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Oceania.
It builds on the success of NIKI’s critically acclaimed debut concert tour, the Nicole World Tour.
The Asian leg of the Buzz World Tour starts on February 9. It will visit eight cities in Southeast Asia: Hong Kong, Pasay, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Quezon City.
Following that, the Australian leg kicks off on March 5 and will include shows in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
The Melbourne show on March 13 is expected to conclude the tour.
“I have been taking time to work on a special show for this next chapter of the Buzz World Tour, can’t wait to see you all soon,” NIKI said in another post.
She also released a set of dress codes for the fans who will attend the concert.
