ITZY member Chaeryeong is officially preparing to step into the spotlight as a solo artist, with JYP Entertainment confirming that she is targeting her debut in November this year.
The announcement marks a major milestone in the singer’s career, making her the third ITZY member to pursue an official independent release, following fellow members Yeji and Yuna.
According to reports, JYP Entertainment said that Chaeryeong is currently preparing an album and is busy filming for music videos.
Known for her smooth dance lines and strong stage presence, Chaeryeong has established herself as one of ITZY’s prominent performers.
Her solo debut will give her an opportunity to showcase her individual musical identity beyond the group’s performances.
While the November release window has been confirmed as the agency’s target, further details about the project remain undisclosed. The album title, exact release date, tracklist, lead single and concept have yet to be announced.

Fans then expressed excitement and said they are looking forward to seeing what musical direction Chaeryeong will take.
“She has that soloist aura. I am so looking forward to it,” someone commented on a TikTok video announcing news about Chaeryeong.
“Okay I see the concept QUEEN,” another added.
Meanwhile, ITZY continues activities as a group through its ongoing third world tour, “TUNNEL VISION”.
Chaeryeong’s upcoming solo debut adds another highly anticipated chapter to the group’s expanding individual careers.
ITZY is a highly popular five-member South Korean girl group formed by the prominent entertainment agency JYP Entertainment.
They officially debuted on February 12, 2019, with the release of their digital single album, “IT’z Different” and its massive hit lead track, “Dalla Dalla”.
