Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young and actor Byun Yo-han have denied pregnancy rumours after confirming that they had legally registered their marriage.

A representative from TEAMHOPE, Byun’s agency, denied rumours of a pre-marital pregnancy circulating on various social media sites after the two confirmed on February 27 that they had officially registered their marriage.

“This is not true. The pregnancy before marriage is not true,” the agency said, as quoted by Chosun News.

Young, Byun register marriage

Earlier, Byun’s side announced in a press release that he and Young completed their marriage registration two months after they confirmed that they were dating with marriage in mind.

“Tiffany Young and Byun yo-han completed their marriage registration today based on deep trust and love for each other. The two actors conveyed their wish to share the news first with fans who have always supported them with great love,” it read.

However, the agency stated that there is no specific schedule or location yet for the wedding ceremony, adding that the couple only wants a simple ceremony in the future.

“We are cautiously considering a simple wedding ceremony in the form of a worship service to express gratitude to family members in the future,” it added.

AI-generated wedding photos go viral

Despite the official statement regarding a wedding ceremony, several photos claiming to show Young and Byun’s wedding shoot spread online, gaining thousands of likes and shares.

The photos show the couple happily posing for the camera while wearing a pink gown and pink tuxedo, alongside Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun.

These pictures were later confirmed to be images created using artificial intelligence and were not based on any real photo shoot, underscoring growing concern over hyperrealistic AI images circulating across social media platforms, The Korea Times reported.

The couple is believed to have grown close after starring together in the Disney+ original “Uncle Samsik,” which was released in May 2024, joining the long list of actors who fell in love on set.

Fans react with glee, excitement

Following the marriage news, fans of both actors immediately congratulated them and wished them well as they embark on this new chapter together.

Sones – fans of Girls’ Generation – also welcomed Byun, calling him Soshi’s brother-in-law as Young became the first-ever member of the girl group to tie the knot.

“Congratulations girl. When I first started stanning SNSD, (I) never thought the day would come when I would accept a member’s marriage. I’m happy for her,” a fan wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Byun debuted in 2011 through the short film “Working on Saturday” before rising to popularity through hit dramas such as “Misaeng” and “Mr. Sunshine.”
