World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk dropped a shocking promo in the latest episode of “Raw”, as he not only took a swipe at his “WrestleMania” opponent Roman Reigns, but also called out Pat McAfee and urged for lowered ticket prices.
Punk kicked off the show sitting cross-legged in the middle of the ring with a mic in hand, a similar posture he took when he delivered an infamous unscripted promo criticising the WWE back in 2011.
The champion first went after Reigns, noting that the challenger is absent yet again in the show.
As Punk lambasted Reigns, fans chanted his moniker “OTC”, but the champion urged those in attendance to keep chanting to see if he shows up.
“Are you going to get mad at me because he didn’t show up? I showed up,” Punk proclaimed, as the fans proceeded to cheer for him.
Punk loathes ‘plastic’ Reigns
The world champion then said that he hates his opponent because he is “plastic”, adding that Reigns is safe and boring.
He further said that when Reigns bothers to show up, he attends the show late and leaves early.
“… you puff your chest around in the back (backstage) like you’re The Rock. At least The Rock is a Hollywood superstar.
“Oh, I’m sorry, was a Hollywood superstar,” Punk added as he also took a swipe at former professional wrestler and celebrity Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Reigns’ cousin.
Punk then went after Reigns’ failed American Football career and brought up a past storyline where Reigns had to be doused in dog food.
“I have paid my dues, and I have earned and deserved everything I’ve bust my ass for, and you are just a bucktooth nepo baby who ate dog food for a weird old man,” Punk said, referring to former WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

Punk pivots to McAfee, ticket prices
The World Heavyweight Championship holder then unexpectedly turned his attention to sports analyst and former American footballer Pat McAfee.
McAfee was revealed on “Smackdown” as the mysterious voice behind Randy Orton’s brutal actions, a whole different storyline that Punk is not involved in.
McAfee cut a promo during that show and said that current wrestlers are unable to sell tickets and that the business is terrible.
“You think you can come here to the business, my business of pro wrestling, and run your mouth? Well, you just wrote a check your narrow ass can’t cash,” Punk said.
Punk then called on McAfee to speak with his agent regarding ticket sales for “WrestleMania”, calling for lowered prices.
“I’ll be damned if I’m going to have you, somebody who kicked a football for a living, come to my business and talk to me about selling tickets and putting asses in seats.
“You have a receipt coming to you,” an angry Punk said.
McAfee’s agent, Ari Emanuel, is also the chief executive officer of TKO Group which is the parent company of the WWE.
Emanuel is reportedly the one who made the decision to include McAfee in Orton’s championship storyline against Cody Rhodes, a move that was wildly criticised by fans online.
