28 Years Later: Bone Temple

Starting the year with a post-apocalyptic horror film, “28 Years Later: Bone Temple” is a sequel to 2025’s hit “28 Years Later”, directed by Nia DaCosta.

Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) discovers something that might change the world as Spike (Alfie Williams) is accepted into Jimmy Crystal’s (Jack O’Connell) crew on the mainland.

Wuthering Heights

Due to be released a day before Valentine’s Day, “Wuthering Heights” is a story of love and vengeance on the Yorkshire moors.

The film was adapted from a novel by English writer Emily Brontë in 1847 and published under her pen name Ellis Bell.

Emerald Fennel directed the film adaptation, starring Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw, a lady of a wealthy family in 18th-century England, and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, described as the antihero of the story.

Project Hail Mary

Due in theaters in March, Ryan Gosling plays as Ryland Grace, a science teacher who wakes in the middle of nowhere, light years away, with no memory.

As time goes by, Grace remembers his ultimate goal: solve the mystery of a substance that is causing the sun to die.

The film is an adaptation of the 2021 science fiction novel by American writer Andy Weir.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

A great year for Super Mario fans as the animated movie “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” based on the 2007 video game of the same name, will hit the big screen in April.

The comedy-adventure animation is a sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie in 2023, and boasts a star-studded cast: Mario (Chris Pratt), Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Luigi (Charlie Day), Bowser (Jack Black), Rosalina (Brie Larson), Bowser Jr. (Benny Safdie), and Toad (Keegan-Michael Key).

The Devil Wears Prada 2

A trip down memory lane, with Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly and Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs returning to the catwalk in May.

As Priestly approaches retirement, she competes with her former assistant Emily Charlton – who is now an executive for a competitor – for advertising revenue, amid the era of a dwindling print media.

The Odyssey

Christopher Nolan is back with the hugely-anticipated “The Odyssey” finally showing in July.

The film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, and Zendaya as Athena.

The story follows Odysseus, who must endure a perilous journey back to Ithaca, following the Trojan War. Along the way, he encounters monsters including Circe, Sirens and the Cyclops, Polyphemus.

Dune: Part Three

From Frank Herbert’s original novel in 1969, Dune has always been an anticipated film from the first release, up to the third.

The third part promises an accurate borrowing from Herbert’s “Dune Messiah”, a sequel to the original book.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film is slated for release in December.

The story follows the heir of great power Paul Atreides or Muad’dib (Timothee Chalamet), as he realises the long-standing plan to establish a supernatural ruler among his people.
