K-pop boy band BTS is heading to Las Vegas this weekend to headline the highly anticipated 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival, presented by Capital One.
Taking place on September 18 and 19 at the renowned T-Mobile Arena, the annual two-day music spectacle brings together an extraordinary lineup of the world’s top performing artists for one of the biggest live music events of the year.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, this year’s star-studded event features dynamic live sets across multiple genres, including performances by Cardi B, Benson Boone, Kenny Chesney, Ciara, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
BTS will take the stage on Friday night, delivering a performance that millions of fans around the globe have been eagerly awaiting.
Fans delighted with news
Their fans, called ARMYs, then expressed excitement about the news.
“That’s a big event with a big-name celebrity here in the USA. I wish I could join the BTS crowd,” someone commented on the TOPIK Korea Facebook post about the news.
Adding historic significance to this year’s festival, rising global powerhouse LE SSERAFIM will also take the stage, officially making history as the very first K-pop girl group to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
BTS ‘honored’ to take part
The five-member group expressed sincere gratitude to their supporters, especially fanbase, FEARNOT.
“We are honored to be invited to a festival where amazing artists perform. We are excited as this is an opportunity to introduce our team to many people,” the group said, as quoted by The Chosun Daily.
“We feel a great sense of responsibility and hope to entertain the audience with a great performance.”
The performance can be streamed live on Disney+ and Hulu, or listened live across more than 150 iHeartRadio radio stations nationwide.
The live broadcast begins each evening at 7:30pm, Pacific Time or 10:30am Eastern Time.
