The singing stars behind KPop Demon Hunters’ biggest hit, “Golden”, are set to perform at the BAFTAs later this month in their first live performance outside the US.
Organisers have announced that Ejae (Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira) and Rei Ami (Zoey) – the singing voices behind the fictional band HUNTR/X – will perform the record-breaking hit “Golden” from the film’s soundtrack.
Golden soundtrack
The song recently made history at the Grammys, where it became the first-ever K-pop song to win the award for Best Song for Visual Media.
That followed a previous win for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes earlier this year.
It was the number one streamed song globally in 2025 and remains the top-streamed song in 2026 thus far, approaching a total of four billion streams.
The song also had an extraordinary run at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, where it held the number one spot for eight consecutive weeks.
Now, the stars’ first live performance on a global stage, outside of the US, will come on Britain’s biggest night for film.

Wider impact
Since its release in 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has skyrocketed to become Netflix’s most popular film of all time, with the film garnering over 500 million streams to date.
Emma Baehr, BAFTA Executive Director of Awards & Content, said in a statement: “KPop Demon Hunters has had a phenomenal impact on the hearts and minds of audiences of all ages around the world since its release last summer, and so we are thrilled the talented singers behind HUNTR/X will bring their K-pop energy to the EE BAFTA Film Awards next month.
“Not only are we here to celebrate exceptional films and the people who make them, we also want to create an unmissable night of entertainment, and we can’t wait to roll out the EE BAFTA Film Awards red carpet for such an iconic trio.”
Despite the film’s success, it was ineligible for awards at the BAFTAs since it was first released on Netflix and not in UK cinemas.
“Performing at the EE BAFTA Film Awards is a golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined,” the singers said in a statement.
“We’re so proud to represent Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters and spread the film’s positive message to fans around the globe.”
The event is set to take place at the Royal Festival Hall at London’s Southbank Centre on Sunday 22 February, and it will be hosted by multi-award-winning actor, producer and TV host Alan Cumming.
