This Sunday, San Francisco will play host to Super Bowl LX, one of the most-watched sports events in the entire world.
But for many of us, the men running around the field in big helmets with padded shoulders hold no attraction.
So what are we interested in? The music, of course.
Every year during the halfway point of the game, a musical act takes to the stage to entertain fans and viewers.
The show is watched by millions across the globe – last year’s performance by Kendrick Lamar was watched by 133.5 million viewers.
This year’s entertainment comes courtesy of Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny.
The singer is hot property at the moment after his successful night at the Grammys, where he became the first artist to win album of the year for a record sung entirely in Spanish with “Debí Tirar Más Fotos”.
So who exactly is Bad Bunny?
Bad Bunny, 31, is a rapper, singer and producer known for his Latin hip-hop.
His 2016 breakout hit “Diles” put him on the map. He was later featured on Cardi B’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single “I Like It”.
Bad Bunny only climbed from there. His third solo album, “El Último Tour Del Mundo” (2020), became the first all-Spanish language album to top the Billboard 200.

Why is his performance controversial?
Bad Bunny has faced backlash from US conservatives since being selected in September.
Some right-wing influencers zeroed in on his criticism of Trump’s immigration agenda, his exclusively Spanish-language lyrics and his gender-fluid fashion choices, according to the Wall Street Journal.
During his Grammys acceptance speech, he spoke about his feelings towards immigration enforcement.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out,” he said, referencing weeks of tension in the US state of Minneapolis, including the deaths of two civilians.
“We’re not savages, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans.”
Bad Bunny told fans earlier in the year that his performance would be entirely in Spanish.
Who else is performing at the Super Bowl?
‘Anti-Trump’ act and hometown band Green Day will be opening proceedings.
The ‘American Idiot’ rockers will “celebrate six decades of the championship’s history” according to the NFL.
Charlie Puth will perform the national anthem, Brandi Carlile will sing “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones will deliver “Lift Every Voice and Sing”.
