An emotional Brock Lesnar on Sunday hinted at retiring after being brutally and swiftly beaten by a much younger Oba Femi during night two of “WrestleMania 42”.
The 48-year-old Lesnar removed his gloves and boots after losing his match, a gesture signalling retirement in the wrestling industry.
Fans went through a rollercoaster of emotions during the opening match of night two, as Femi also beat Lesnar in under five minutes, a shocking and rare sight for a typically dominant Lesnar.
Femi manhandles Lesnar
The match started with the two engaging in a lock-up at a stalemate, but the quick Lesnar caught his much younger opponent off guard and overpowered him as he rammed his shoulder to the gut of Femi multiple times.
But Femi brushed off the barrage and let out a war cry, shocking both Lesnar and the tens of thousands in attendance.
“The Beast Incarnate” continued his offence with “Clotheslines”, but the attacks had no effect on “The Ruler”.
The Nigerian newcomer then gave Lesnar a “Clothesline” of his own which immediately levelled the veteran.
Lesnar had to regroup and convene with his long-time manager Paul Heyman.
The 290-pound Lesnar saw an opening and damaged Femi’s back, as he also launched his foe on the side of the steel steps.
An in-control Lesnar then unleashed his signature “Suplex City”, giving Femi three consecutive “German Suplexes”.
Lesnar’s momentum was put to a halt as his opponent countered another “German Suplex”.
However, Lesnar caught Femi and hit him with an “F5”.
But to the shock and awe of all those watching, a dazed Femi stood up and hit Lesnar with a “Chokeslam”.
The move stunned “The Beast Incarnate” as “The Ruler” notched his first “WrestleMania” win by following-up with a “Fall From Grace”.

Emotional Lesnar takes off his boots
Fans all chanted for the rising star, but as Femi made his exit, a visibly emotional Lesnar sat at the centre of the ring.
Those in attendance applauded for the fallen “Beast” as the villainous Lesnar made the shocking gesture of removing his gloves and boots.
The former UFC champion then waved to the fans and hugged Heyman, with the audience all chanting: “Thank you, Lesnar!”
The WWE icon greeted fans at ringside on his way to the exit, as he helped launch the 27-year-old Femi to stardom.
It is not yet officially confirmed if Lesnar is truly retired.
