British TV personality and ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ star Jeremy Clarkson has given an update on his health on Instagram, after disclosing his cancer diagnosis earlier in the week.
Clarkson, 66, posted a video on Instagram to reassure his fans that he was doing well after a few days of apprehension.
“Hello everyone. Now, the more observant among you would have noticed that I am not dead. And I am not just not dead, I am perfectly fine,” Clarkson said in the video.
A shock announcement
On Wednesday, Amazon Prime released the last two episodes of Season 5 of ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, the documentary series in which Clarkson recounts the highs and lows of his farming adventure in the Cotswolds, England.
The series premiered in 2021, after the journalist and ‘Top Gear’ presenter had acquired a 1000-acre farm in Chipping Norton, West Oxfordshire, and attempted to run it with his trusted collaborators.
The exploit of the ‘Diddly Squat’ farm has now reached its fifth season on Amazon, and in episode 7, Clarkson can be seen announcing his cancer diagnosis to his associates Kaleb Cooper, the farm’s manager, and Charlie Ireland, the land agent.
The season follows the events that took place on the farm in 2025.
“I’ve got cancer,” Clarkson suddenly tells the two, adding that he had known “since May” 2025.
The stunned duo can be seen asking about the type of cancer, to which Clarkson replies, “where is of no concern to anybody”.
“I had a medical back in May, and they went, […] you know, it’s cancer, and it’s aggressive,” he explained.
“It’s really early, so the treatment will be, you know,” he then adds, implying good chances of improvement.
“Look after yourself, you go,” both Cooper and Ireland respond.
At the end of the following episode, Clarkson can be seen in a hospital bed, while stating to the camera: “Some of the treatment got a bit awry.”
“If this is all successful, I’ll see you for Season 6. And if it isn’t, I won’t. Take care, everyone,” he then continues.
As soon as the episode was released, fans flocked online to wish Clarkson a speedy recovery, with many wondering about the star’s health and asking for an update.

‘Get tested’
On Saturday, Clarkson finally broke his silence with the Instagram post.
“The reason why I’m fine, it’s because the doctors caught the prostate cancer early. And they caught it early because I got tested,” he explained.
“Now, I know a lot of you will say ‘ah, I don’t want to be tested because it means someone will have to put their finger in me, but it’s just a blood test these days,” he continued.
“And if you go to your doctor and he says, well, I’m not gonna test you, because you don’t have any symptoms, you’re not in a high-risk category, just lie, say you have got symptoms,” Clarkson added.
“Ten, twelve thousand people, men, to be honest, die every year, in the UK, from prostate cancer.”
“Don’t be one of them. Get tested,” Clarkson said at the end of the video.
