Randy Orton set his sights against Drew McIntyre once again, a week after the “Scottish Psychopath” brutally attacked WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

On this week’s episode of “SmackDown”, which was held in Dublin, Ireland, McIntyre came out from the commentator’s side, as the crowd went ballistic.

He sarcastically asked commentators Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett for an update on Rhodes’ condition.

“Well, I’ll give an official update on Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes is a little bitch,” McIntyre, who hit a brutal “Claymore” to the champion through the announce table last episode, told the riled-up crowd.

“But Cody, I’ve done you a favour. I’ve given you more time with the thing you value more in this entire world: the WWE Championship,” McIntyre stated.

“Guess how many people have chastised me and told me off. Zero people. They all want your spot, buddy. You’ve got no friends left in WWE.”

The Dublin crowd then exploded with cheers again, as a rabid Orton snuck into the ring to deliver an “RKO” out of nowhere to McIntyre.

Orton, who mentored Rhodes, was last seen on August 2 during Night 1 of “SummerSlam” where he competed in a tag-team match alongside US rapper Jelly Roll against McIntyre and Logan Paul.

McIntyre’s fiery response

Following the attack, McIntyre posted a video response on social media, threatening to give Orton the “Old Yeller treatment”.

“Once again, Randy Orton is in my business. And I don’t know why,” McIntyre angrily said.

“The winds of change are blowing through WWE, and we’re sick of the Cody re-runs, week after week. New change means new champion, and I’m just the man for the job.”

He then compared Orton to Old Yeller, a fictional dog who had to be put down in the end of the classic novel of the same name.

“I think you’re Old Yeller. I think you want to go out in a blaze of glory. I think you see me and see your way out of this industry. And I’m happy to oblige.”
