Padel Mentality launches a game-changing approach to sustainable sportswear

Padel Mentality, a new London-based sportswear brand, is redefining sustainable fashion by producing high-performance padel apparel only after it has been purchased – eliminating waste and overproduction entirely.

At a time when the global fashion industry produces approximately 100 billion garments annually, with up to 40% never sold, Padel Mentality positions itself as a direct response to this systemic inefficiency.

By eliminating overproduction, the company addresses one of the industry’s biggest environmental challenges head-on.

“We don’t sell what’s already been made. We only make what a customer actually buys,” said co-founder Robert Hart.

A smarter solution for players and clubs

The brand launches with two core offerings: a direct-to-consumer line of high-performance padel apparel and an innovative retail platform for clubs.

For players, the process is refreshingly simple.

Browse online, place an order, and receive a custom-made garment within 10 to 12 days, shipped directly from the factory.

For padel clubs, the model represents a significant shift.

Padel Mentality provides a fully managed, technology-driven retail infrastructure that eliminates traditional barriers like upfront investment, stock management, and unsold inventory.

Clubs can offer premium apparel, create bespoke collections, and even outfit staff all without holding stock.

Backed by industry expertise and purpose

Led by Hart and a co-founder with a combined 40 years of sportswear experience, the brand draws on deep industry knowledge to challenge long-standing practices.

Their previous experience in conventional apparel production revealed the inefficiencies they now aim to eliminate.

“We spent over 20 years running a conventional sportswear business… Every element of that model is built on waste and speculation. So we built a better way,” Hart explained.

“We want to drive lasting change across the global fashion industry and put purpose at the heart of Padel.”

Positioned for a rapidly growing sport

The launch comes at a pivotal moment for padel, currently the fastest-growing racket sport worldwide.

With participation in the UK more than doubling in 2025 alone and similar growth seen globally, Padel Mentality is strategically positioned to scale alongside the sport.

Orders ship worldwide in 10 days and can be found on their website: www.padelmentality.com
