Rock legends. P-pop idols. Hip-hop hitmakers. Folk favourites. For one night, some of the biggest hitmakers in Philippine music shared the same stage at the sold-out OPM Con Generations 2026, turning the Smart Araneta Coliseum into a celebration of music’s past, present, and future.
True to its “Generations” theme, the concert paired established icons with younger stars, producing unexpected collaborations throughout the night.
OPM through the years
The loudest cheers rose when P-pop kings SB18 welcomed rock icon Bamboo to the stage for “Tatsulok”, one of OPM’s most powerful protest anthems.
Earlier in the evening, P-pop boy group ALAMAT shared the stage with Jett Pangan for “Salamat”, while quintet KAIA teamed up with Sam Concepcion for “Dati”.
Folk band Ben&Ben brought out former UDD frontwoman Armi Millare for an emotional rendition of “Pagtingin”, and rapper Flow G and Parokya ni Edgar’s Chito Miranda fused rap and rock through “Harana”.
Rapper Skusta Clee also surprised fans by performing South Border classic “Ikaw Nga” alongside Jay Durias.
Every corner of OPM
Outside the surprise guests, the concert showcased just how diverse the landscape has become.
P-pop was represented by SB19, ALAMAT, KAIA, G22, and XONARA. Folk-pop found its place through Ben&Ben and Sunkissed Lola, while Flow G and Skusta Clee carried the hip-hop banner.
Rock legends, meanwhile, returned through Bamboo, Jett Pangan, Chito Miranda, Armi Millare, and Jay Durias.

More than nostalgia
The concert wasn’t simply about bringing veteran artists back into the spotlight.
Instead, OPM Con demonstrated how Filipino music continues to thrive when different generations meet on equal footing.
Longtime fans heard familiar voices share the stage with artists dominating today’s streaming charts, while younger audiences were introduced to the musicians who helped define earlier eras of OPM.
