South African superstar Tyla has officially announced “The A*POP World Tour”, with performances across Europe, North America and Africa in support of her newly-released second studio album.
The announcement follows the album’s release on July 24 and marks the singer’s first full-scale global arena and theatre tour.
The world tour will begin in Paris on October 12 before travelling through major European cities including London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Stockholm.
From there, Tyla will embark on an extensive North American leg beginning in Wheatland, California, on November 12, with stops in San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
North American tour marks a milestone
The North American dates represent a significant milestone in Tyla’s career.
While the Grammy-winning artist previously announced a US tour in 2024, it was cancelled due to an injury before it began.
The A*POP World Tour now gives fans across the continent their first opportunity to see her headline a full run of shows.
Tickets for the North American concerts will first be available through an artist presale beginning July 29, before general sales open on July 31.

A homecoming for South African fans
After completing the European and North American legs, Tyla will return to Africa for three special performances.
The tour includes a stop in Lagos before concluding with two homecoming concerts in South Africa, performing in Cape Town on January 4, 2027, and Johannesburg on January 9, 2027.
The South African dates are expected to be among the most anticipated of the tour, marking her return home after another breakthrough year on the international stage.
Supporting the new A*POP era
The tour celebrates Tyla’s second album, A*POP, which features tracks including “Chanel”, “She Did It Again’ featuring Zara Larsson, and “Is It Love”, alongside collaborations with Babalwa M, MaWhoo and Liquideep.
Speaking about the album, Tyla said she wanted to redefine what it means to be a pop star from Africa, describing A*POP as a celebration of her roots while embracing global pop music.
A new chapter for Tyla
The announcement comes as Tyla continues to cement her place as one of Africa’s biggest global music exports.
Following the worldwide success of “Water”, which earned her the first Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, and a string of sold-out shows across Asia and South Africa, The A*POP World Tour represents her most ambitious live project yet.
With 34 dates across three continents, the tour marks another major step in Tyla’s rapidly growing international career and offers fans worldwide the chance to experience her new era live.
