On the latest episode of “Monday Night Raw,” fans were treated with another round of hate from the recently-turned villain John Cena, who promised those in attendance to “ruin wrestling.”
“I am going to ruin wrestling for every fan, for every wrestler, for everyone,” Cena said in front of a packed crowd who replied with profanities.
The 47-year-old also took a swipe at industry legend Ric Flair, who is currently tied with Cena with the most world championship reigns.
“I made history by winning a 17th championship, and I finally force you to forget the name of the fun machine, jet-flying woo Ric Flair. You will forever say the name John Cena.”
Cena vows to retire with the belt
Cena then promised fans to end his career as a champion, retiring with the coveted Undisputed World Wrestling Entertainment Championship.
“I’m going to win that championship and retire with it. I am taking it home with me. And leaving all of you to create a brand new toy belt, because the real one comes home with me,” Cena screamed, as fans replied with deafening boos.

In an interview with TMZ Sport, Flair was ecstatic with Cena’s mention, but proclaimed that no one will ever erase his name from history.
“They’ve been trying to get rid of the ‘woo’ for 50 years. The ‘woo’ ain’t going away, and neither is Ric Flair,” the 76-year-old said.
Despite Cena’s harsh words, Flair praised the revolutionary character change, stating that it “was the coolest thing they could have done.”
Why, Cena, Why?
In last week’s “Raw” episode, the 16-time world champion explained his actions, stating that his turn to the dark side was because of how fans treated him.
“For 25 years, I’ve been a victim of an abusive relationship.”
“All you do is be hurtful and bully me…I am not a babyface. I am not a heel. I am a human being. You have been awful to me,” Cena stated.
He said that the sole question on fans’ minds is “what do we get,” and that no one had asked him how he felt.
“You get what you have earned, and what you have earned is nothing.”
