Lewis Hamilton delivered a statement victory at the Barcelona Grand Prix, securing a long-awaited return to the top step of the podium.

The seven-time World Champion produced a masterclass in racecraft, strategy, and tire management to claim his maiden victory for Ferrari.

His win even carried greater significance as it halted the remarkable run of Mercedes championship leader Kimi Antonelli.

The young Italian sensation had enjoyed a dominant streak of podium finishes throughout the season, emerging as the benchmark driver of the championship.

However, his impressive run came to a heartbreaking conclusion in Barcelona after a late-race mechanical issue forced him into retirement, denying him valuable points and opening the door for Hamilton’s resurgence in the title fight.
