K-pop sensation Stray Kids confirmed their comeback on Wednesday through their pre-release single “RUN IT”.

This high-tempo anthem exhibits the group’s signature confidence while highlighting cultural diversity through striking visuals and storytelling.

Released on June 24, “RUN IT” serves as the first taste of Stray Kids’ upcoming album, “THIS & THAT”, to be unveiled on August 7.

A world of cultures in ‘RUN IT’

Thanks to the combined creativity of the band’s in-house production team, 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin and Han, the track’s message is set to emphasise the power of tenacity and persistent ambition.

These are qualities the group exhibit when pushing their musical boundaries.

The accompanying music video has received praise from fans worldwide for its inclusion of varying cultures.

Set against a backdrop of diverse landscapes, architectural influences and traditional-inspired fashion elements, the video presents a multicultural journey that reflects the group’s international appeal.

Rather than focusing on a single cultural story, “RUN IT” embraces a larger vision of unity, demonstrating how many traditions and identities may thrive inside a shared artistic space.

Stray Kids hit the road again

Dropping “RUN IT” also inspired Stray Kids to launch a new world tour of the same name.

Five concerts at KSPO Dome in Seoul on July 25, 26 and 29 will mark the beginning of the “RUN IT World Tour”.

Additional shows will follow on August 1 and 2, according to a report from the Korea JoongAng Daily.

From there, the eight members will head to Japan for stadium performances at Tokyo’s National Stadium in August.

Then, they will continue their tour to Nagoya and Osaka in September and Fukuoka in October.

Hong Kong and Taipei will be their next stops in December before giving Bangkok a fiery 2027 welcome in January and Singapore in March.

Bigger stages, bigger ambitions

JYP Entertainment also gave a clear indication of the Asian leg being the first part of the anticipated tour through its official post on X.

This caused fans to speculate that North America and Europe are some of the regions chosen for additional legs.

Moreover, fans are optimistic that the upcoming tour will achieve immense success, similar to the band’s 2025 “dominATE” world tour.

The tour featured 56 breathtaking performances across 35 cities.

It is highly predicted that the larger venues and stadium-scale productions planned for several stops in the “RUN IT” tour will further solidify Stray Kids’ status as one of the K-pop leading acts to capture the hearts of fans worldwide.
