The long wait is over for millions of ARMYs around the world, as BTS has announced their comeback on March 20.
BigHit Music, the agency behind the sensational boy group, confirmed the news on Friday through their X account, formerly known as Twitter.
ARMYs, the name of BTS’s fans, have been eagerly anticipating the group’s return since all seven members completed their military service.
To personally express their gratitude, members Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook sent handwritten letters to ARMYs, thanking them for their unwavering support.
In the letters, the members wished their fans a happy New Year and shared that they are working hard on their upcoming album.

BTS’s influence is far-reaching
BTS has been recognized as one of the biggest influencers of “hallyu,” or the Korean Wave, across the globe.
Recently, leader RM even spoke to APEC leaders in Goyang, the city hosting the summit, urging them to invest in arts and creators worldwide and emphasizing how culture brings people together.
The group is also regarded as one of the highest earners in the South Korean entertainment industry, generating approximately KRW 4.1 trillion (USD 2.8 billion) annually for the country’s economy, according to Hyundai Research Institute.
‘Run BTS’ No.1 in 61 countries
To further solidify their influence, BTS’s 2022 track “Run BTS” reclaimed the No. 1 spot on iTunes charts in 61 countries, including Brazil, Finland, Mexico, and Greece, BigHit Music said.
ARMYs said it is their way to welcome the announcement and to celebrate the New Year with the group.
Released in June 2022, the song serves as a motivational anthem about perseverance, unity, and celebrating BTS’s journey.
