Leading South Korean performer Jennie Kim premiered new songs during her set at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City on Monday, drawing strong reactions from fans as she continues to expand her career as a solo artist.
Jennie, a member of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, performed at the three-day festival held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, where she was among the headliners alongside A$AP Rocky.
During her set, she introduced three unreleased tracks, giving fans a preview of her upcoming solo work.
One of the songs, “Lock It Down”, features a Latin-inspired beat with a flirty, high-energy vibe.
Another track, “Little Less”, carried a softer tone, though further details were not immediately disclosed during the performance.
The Billboard Music Awards winner also performed her collaboration song with The Weeknd and Lily Rose Depp titled “One Of The Girls”, marking the first time she performed the track live.
The song has already surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify since its release in June 2023.

Jennie is regarded as one of the most talked-about South Korean celebrities on social media, with about 89 million followers on Instagram.
Her performances have also drawn millions of views on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok.

With nearly 54 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the “Like Jennie” singer is set to continue her solo success with more major international festival appearances in the coming months.
According to her agency, OA Entertainment, Jennie is expected to headline Mad Cool Festival in Spain next month, followed by a performance at Lollapalooza in the United States, two of the world’s biggest music festivals featuring leading global artists.
