Filipino girl group BINI is still in awe at the news that they will be performing at Coachella 2026, making history as the first Filipino act to take the stage at one of the world’s most influential music festivals.
In a statement to Billboard, BINI shared that what once felt like a distant dream has now become a reality.
“When we were on the Zach Sang Show earlier this year, we said out loud that we dreamed of performing at Coachella and now it’s really happening,” the group said.
“To see that manifestation come true is beyond surreal. Being part of the 2026 lineup isn’t just a milestone for BINI, it’s a moment for Filipino music and for everyone who has believed in us since the beginning.
“We can’t wait to bring our music and our culture to the desert stage.”

BINI ‘so happy’ to join line-up
BINI also said they first thought the lineup poster was fan-made until they confirmed it on Coachella’s official page.
“We’re just so happy—BINI, our team, our glam team, everyone’s thrilled for us,” said member Colet in an interview with ABS-CBN.
“We’ve always wanted to perform at Coachella, so thank you so much, Lord.”
BINI, consisting of Jhoanna, Aiah, Gwen, Colet, Stacey, Maloi, Mikha, and Sheena, said they will dedicate more time to rehearsals to deliver their best performance at the festival and proudly represent Filipino talent on the global stage.
The group will be performing in April with big names such as Sabrina Carpenter, Nine Inch Noize, The XX, Disclosure, Katseye and more.
BINI’s growing influence at home and abroad
With millions of followers across social media, BINI has built a strong connection with their fans, known as Blooms, especially in the Philippines.
Last year, the group was named Billboard Philippines’ No. 1 Artist of the Year as part of Billboard’s Global No. 1s series.
They also cemented their international presence this year with the successful Biniverse World Tour 2025, which took them to stages in New York, Dubai, Canada, and London.
BINI beyond music
Earlier this year, BINI expanded their artistry beyond the stage with the launch of BINI Cosmetics, a line that was warmly welcomed by their fans.
In an interview with Billboard, the group explained that the line was designed to inspire confidence.
“(Through our makeup) we want people to feel seen, to feel confident doing their own thing, whether you wear makeup every day or just sometimes. It’s for everyone, no filters, no limitations,” BINI said.
