The 98th Academy Awards took place on Sunday, March 15 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Hosted by Conan O’Brien for the second year in a row, the event kicked off with a pre-recorded segment of him dressed as Madigan’s character from Weapons.

One Battle After Another won big, scooping six awards with Sean Penn winning best supporting actor for his part and Paul Thomas Anderson winning best Director.

Michael B. Jordan won best male actor, his first ever Academy Award for his lead role in Sinners, becoming the sixth black male to win this category.

Sinners went on to win three more awards coming in just after One Battle After Another.

Kate Hudson stole the red-carpet, dazzling onlookers in a pale blue sequin gown by Armani Prive with diamond cluster finger polish to finish the look.
