Netflix is reportedly planning to have a world tour of its fictional K-pop Huntr/x from the popular film “KPop Demon Hunters” and is currently “negotiating with concert promoters to stage a live show featuring performances of the songs.”
The plans are still “nebulous,” according to sources, but Netflix is aiming to kickstart the tour next year, ahead of the film’s sequel.
Plans for the concert
It is still unclear which songs will be performed or who are included and how the performance will be staged, but Netflix is apparently eyeing a hybrid approach.
This approach will let fans see a live performance from EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the trio who voiced Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, respectively, as well as possible virtual or through holographic performances from them.
This strategy, according to the company, would be a good compromise since it will allow audiences to experience live music with other fans and provide vocal artists a chance to relax for the world tour, given the challenging songs they will be performing.
Netflix has reportedly given tens of millions of dollars in advance guarantees but has not yet selected a promoter.
The tour is planned to be held in multiple cities and aims to sell the show to big arenas which can hold up to 20,000 people.

‘KPop Demon Hunters’ orchestral concert to launch
Meanwhile, a live orchestral concert featuring the soundtrack of “KPop Demon Hunters” will be opening across South Korea from May.
The concert, named “KPop Demon Hunters Inspired OST Orchestra Concert,” will be planned and produced by the Korean Pops Orchestra.
It will feature 12 songs and will run for around 100 minutes.
The film’s popularity
“KPop Demon Hunters” was one of Netflix’s most watched films in 2025.
The film won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, while the song “Golden” won Academy Award for best original song, as well as the Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 68th Grammy Awards.
Huntr/x also became the first Kpop girl group to reach No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Recently, Netflix also announced a sequel for the film, which will be the first animation production under Netflix’s exclusive multiyear writing and directing collaboration with Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans.
