What’s in store for Bad Bunny?
Digital music service and streaming platform Spotify stated that it is launching a global campaign to celebrate the award for the superstar and his followers.
The campaign will include on-platform surprises, a short film called “Leap Year,” and unique fan activations worldwide.
“Having Bad Bunny as our Global Artist for the fourth time – that’s historic, that’s unprecedented, we’ve never seen that before,” Spotify Latin America general manager Mia Nygren stated.
“This is not something that we are giving him; this is something that our users and his fans are giving him,” Nygren added.
“It’s so particularly cool and special and meaningful because he’s doing this leaning into his roots and Puerto Rican story in such an unapologetic way.”
Bad Bunny will be performing at the Apple Music Halftime Show at the Super Bowl in California in February 2026.
“I’m going to enjoy. I’m going to embrace the moment. I’m going to show what we have, our music, our culture. I’m just going to the stage to enjoy and have fun…” the reggaeton artist stated in an interview.
“I’m really excited for my friends, my family, Puerto Rico, all the Latino people around the world.”
“I’m excited about my culture. I’m excited about everything, not just for me. You know what I’m saying.”
