Liverpool defender Jarrell Quansah has missed out on a place in the England squad for June’s World Cup qualifier with Andorra and a friendly clash with Senegal.

Quansah was included in Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad but has missed out this time, as have Manchester City duo Jack Grealish and Phil Foden, who have both struggled to get minutes on the pitch in this season’s Premier League campaign.

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has been included in the squad by England manager Tuchel, even though he has not played much for the Reds since he announced he was leaving Anfield when his contract expires this summer.

White, Solanke available but overlooked

Arsenal defender Ben White made himself available for selection again, having ruled himself out of the running for a squad place while Gareth Southgate was in charge, but Tuchel has decided not to select him.

Ex-Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke, who helped Tottenham beat Manchester United in the final of the Europa League in Bilbao on Wednesday, has also been overlooked.

The former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss has, however, included in-form striker Ivan Toney, who has bagged 22 goals in 29 games since leaving Brentford for Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.

Former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is also included to add some experience to the midfield department.
