Black Sabbath lead singer Ozzy Osbourne is selling empty cans containing his DNA to fans for £335 ($450) so that they can “try to clone” the music legend.

Osbourne has teamed up with American beverage company Liquid Death for the limited-edition product, dubbed Infinite Ozzy, with only 10 signed and re-sealed cans containing the rocker’s DNA available.

Osbourne retails own saliva

The product consists of a can of Liquid Death ice tea that has been drunk by Osbourne and packaged in a lab-quality display container, containing trace samples of the singer’s saliva and his signature.

“Once technology and federal law permit, fans can use this DNA to try to clone Ozzy in the future and enjoy him for hundreds of years to come,” Liquid Death’s PR team have stated.

Their website adds: “Ozzy Osbourne is 1 of 1. But we’re selling his actual DNA so you can recycle him forever.”

The website further notes that the cans are already sold out.

Birmingham farewell concert awaits

The Infinite Ozzy campaign arrives just weeks before the 76-year-old is set to return to the stage for what has been dubbed the final Black Sabbath show, with the heavy metal band having been on hiatus since the conclusion of The End Tour in 2017.

According to Billboard, Osbourne recently revealed that he’s undergoing intense training in preparation for Back to the Beginning, a massive July 5 hometown concert at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.

This will be his first full performance since 2018.

“I haven’t done any physical work for the last seven, six and a half, seven years,” Osbourne shared during the latest episode of his SiriusXM show Ozzy Speaks

“By hook or by crook, I’m gonna make it [to Villa Park].

“I have got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It’s hard going, but he’s convinced that he can pull it off for me.

“I am having my blood pressure taken 15 times a day. I’ve got this f***ing device on my finger. It’s a monitor to say how my heart rate is.”

Despite major health setbacks, including spinal surgeries and a Parkinson’s diagnosis, the music legend has remained active and continues to embrace his role as heavy metal’s most enduring provocateur.

Back to the Beginning will also feature performances from the likes of Metallica, Slayer, Alice in Chains, and many more.
