Singapore, the global city known for its strict laws, safety, cleanliness and especially its high-tech infrastructures, is a great place to visit.

Even on a tight schedule one can experience many incredible things which make it a must-see destination.

Get mesmerized by the beauty of the Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most popular spots with over 115 million visitors to date.

This gigantic futuristic park is located in the heart of Downtown Singapore and home to 1.5 million different plants from almost all continents other than Antarctica.

Submerge yourself in its beauty by spending the day in one or all its attractions like the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome or the Supertree Observatory amongst others.

Due to its sheer size and the number of attractions, one can easily be lost in the amazement of it for hours on end.

Amazing views from Marina Bay Sands SkyPark

Marina Bay Sands SkyPark is a famous observation desk located on the 56th floor of the Marina Bay Sands hotel.

Other than for the SkyPark, this hotel is also known for its 150-meter infinity pool.

The pool can only be used by hotel guests, but everyone can buy a ticket to the Sky observation desk for some incredible 360-degree views, as well as access the rooftop dining venues located on the 57th floor.

Take a stroll on the funky Helix Bridge

The Helix Bridge is a 280-meter-long bridge for pedestrians which is known all around the world due to its shape and double helix design resembling DNA.

The bridge connects the Marina Centre with the Marina South and forms part of a 3.5-kilometre walking loop around Marina Bay.

This stroll offers spectacular skyline views which are fantastic to see in the day but are particularly enjoyable during the night due to the lights illuminating the city.

Relax on Sentosa Island

Off Singapore’s Southern coast one can find Sentosa Island, a resort which offers different attractions, dining experiences, bars as well as beaches, amongst other things.

This resort island is connected to the city and can be accessed by a monorail, a pedestrian boardwalk or a cable car.

It is home to the famous Tiger Sky Tower which is yet another place offering fantastic panoramic views that can go as far as Indonesia when the conditions are right.

Go and see Merlion Park

Merlion Park is a well-known landmark and tourist attraction located near the Central Business District.

It has become so famous due to it being a mythical bear-headed and fish-tailed creature, which is also used as Singapore’s mascot.

There are two merlion statues located in the park: one of them, the original one, is 8.6 metres tall and spouts water out of its mouth, whereas the other one, a merlion cub which has been added later, is much smaller and only two metres tall.

These are only a handful of the incredible things that one can see, do and experience in Singapore.

Depending on how much time one has to spend there, there are plenty more adventures to be lived on a trip to this mesmerising city.

But no matter how much or how little time one has, every minute is worth it.
