Glenn Close, one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, recently spoke out in an interview about harsh criticism of her co-star Kim Kardashian in legal drama “All’s Fair”, saying the show is “Pretty f***ing good!”

“All’s Fair”, which premiered on November 4, has received its fair share of negative reviews, with a 3/10 rating from IMDb and a scalding 4% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The show follows a successful divorce lawyer as she and her colleagues leave their male-dominated firm to create their own, and features a star-studded cast including Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor and Sara Paulson.

Glenn Close defended Kardashian in a recent interview with The Guardian, saying: “I swear to God, I’ve seen all nine episodes and it’s pretty f***ing good. It is what it is: it’s juicy and outrageous at times and touching.”

Close explained that Kardashian surrounded herself with strong talent and a supportive team, and praised her intelligence and discipline, noting that Kardashian was juggling filming with studying for her law degree.

“She’s lovely. Very smart. Very conscientious with her kids. When we were filming, she was working towards her law degree, flashcards and all,” Close added.

Terrible reviews

Critics have stated that the legal drama is one of the worst television productions, despite featuring some of Hollywood’s best actors.

According to Harper’s BAZAAR: “The show is a Frankenstein creation of constant materialism and casual cruelty dressed up as ‘feminism’, all of which make Kim Kardashian’s motionless face and spoof-worthy line delivery feel almost inconsequential.”

Meanwhile, some critics argue that the show is so bad, it might be good, alluding to it being a potential meme, with outrageous lines and character names such as Allura Grant and Emerald Greene.

Director Anthony Hemingway explained to The Hollywood Reporter why the show may not resonate with everyone, saying: “You’re not going to please everybody.

“It may be out of your league, it may not be anything you can connect to.”
