Seth Rollins on Sunday managed to survive a “Fatal Four-Way” match with the assistance of his wife, Becky Lynch, in the main event of the first-ever “Clash in Paris” at the Paris La Défense Arena.
Rollins, the only heel wrestler involved, retained his belt against CM Punk, Jey Uso and LA Knight.
Lynch came to the rescue of her husband during the final stage of the match, saving an unconscious Rollins by giving Punk a “low-blow.”
Punk would have captured the belt if not for the Women’s Intercontinental Champion’s intervention, as both Knight and Uso were out cold following “curb stomps” by Rollins.
Rollins was primed for a second consecutive “GTS”, before a masked Lynch snuck into the ring to her husband’s rescue.
Rollins snatched the win when he delivered a “curb stomp” to Punk on a steel chair.
Lynch’s appearance came as a plan B for the champion, as Rollins’ stablemates, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, were both ejected from the arena earlier in the night after viciously attacking Roman Reigns.

Punk and Lynch’s tense encounter
Punk then made an appearance on this week’s episode of “Raw,” where he called out his rival.
Surprisingly, Rollins’ music played, but Lynch came out instead.
“Oh what’s the matter? Wasn’t the man you were looking for?” Lynch, who is known as “The Man,” stated.
The raucous fans then chanted for former WWE wrestler AJ Lee, Punk’s wife, which prompted Lynch to say: “Classic. Always chanting for a dope who doesn’t work here,” in reference to fans chanting for Punk during his long absence from the company.
The heated confrontation continued with Lynch and Punk involved in a war of words, as Rollins finally appeared.
“If you got something to say to your World Heavyweight Champion, why don’t you come on up here and say it to my face,” Rollins, who was on the entrance ramp, said.
Punk tried to march forward, but Lynch kept on blocking the way, as Rollins quickly slithered away, laughing.
He then faced Lynch who swiftly gave Punk a barrage of slaps, as she shoved and screamed to provoke him.
“I’m gonna make Seth Rollins regret ever cashing in on me, and you’re going to regret putting your hands on me,” Punk coldly warned.
As Punk exited the ring, Lynch did not stop talking smack which visibly upset the “Best in the World.”
